So I had to spend a lot of time thinking about this anime and why I enjoyed it so much. generally speaking with an anime like this one it is not that great of an anime. Normally filled with fluff and enough ecchi to make you bored of it REALLY fast. However, that was the pleasant surprise about this one I guess. There was almost no fluff. I am not going to say it was devoid of fluff. No there is plenty of happy little innocent boys and girls dry humping each other and calling themselves best friends. However, there was plenty of other story to go along with it.

That was what kept me going in this series. The continued story and the continued suspense as well as the continued character development. Ok that was minimal, but there was more than this kind of anime normally has. I mean how rare is it that you have a griping and well written story in a fluffy anime like this one?

Most of theses really short animes have what I would barely consider a story. This one however, had four distinct arches. Each arch when through all the proper phases of a story, intro, building climax, end. You do not see that in many short animes like this one. Most of the time you hit the climax by episode 13 in a desperate attempt to build demand for a second season. However, not this time around. this time around there was plenty of story to go around.

So overall this season was a good one. Plenty of anime to watch in such a short time. The day I spent watching it I nearly flew through it. It was one of those ones that was REALLY hard to put down. At least the first season was. I am always worried about the stuff I read for the second season and stuff. That has started and I am running into the major Challenge of not letting that season influence the reviews for this season.
