So, I usually do not like to be critical of anime. However, when the anime is trying to be educational we should call out the liberties they take with the truth. A virus does not create a zombie cell. Viruses infiltrate a cell and then destroy it by having its children explode out of it. So the whole zombie metaphor was not a very good one. They should have stolen from Aliens because that would have been vastly more accurate. Since the Xenomorphs use other creatures bodies to reproduce, just like a virus.

Ummm you know maybe I should rewatch this episode because it does a pretty crappy job of explaining precisely what the platelets do. I mean... they are supposed to be the cute mascots of the show, but that does not make sense. I guess they need to use their innocence and stuff to trick blood cells into becoming scabs? I am confused about that part. They run around acting like elementary school kids, and then suddenly they do a bunch of work. I need to figure out this on my own.
