Well that was a waste of an episode. Why is it that all these OVAs have to pull shit like this? It is like the author is apologizing to the community for not seeing enough boobs. Cloths come off and uhhh god what a waste of time. The formula pissed me off. Start a game, then warp over to the strippers, then finish the game, repeat. Thought this is something that confuses me.

Why is it the guy always has to wear a blindfold? I mean as long as he is winning that is ok, but what happens when he starts to lose? Do the girls have to start wearing blindfolds? I have never understood how females are perceive as more mature in that aspect of the world. It is like they have to wear two garments for underwear instead of just one, therefore they are better. It just does not make sense to me. Oh well, I guess that I do not have to worry about that kind of thing given the lack of females in my life.

You know I am liking this anime and its fanservice. It is like a pissed off female who knows that if she does not sleep with her man he will leave her. So just just sort of flops over and says get it over with. That is how I feel about the fan service in this anime. Which is just fine really. You get your few minutes of panties and titties and then you are done. Splendid, I wish more anime did that instead of all the crap we see these days.

Wow this anime is all about the not so secret secret societies. Anyway, let me get this straight. There is a secret society where we wear nekomimi, and gather together to worship cats? Hmmm yeah I think I could get into that. Is there one already? I need to sign up. I mean the cult that is anime is pretty broad with too many sects to really be something I can properly worship anything. Then again maybe anime conventions are a front to recruit followers and I have not just shown enough devotion to it.. hmm oh well I will have to figure this one out later.

I wonder what the writer was trying to say when he mentioned how the low brow stuff is the peak of society. Yeah we get it anime is hated by the masses, cry me a river. Anyway, it is an interesting point to make. I mean when you really sit down and look at the differences between high brow and low brow stuff. The high brow stuff just starts to become copies off each other. Not that the low brow stuff is immune. However, in the low brow area of things. You have a great deal more wiggle room. A perfect example are most sports animes. Yes we have sports sitcoms. However, the sport is just secondary to the sitcoms. Yes they are all on a... uhh I guess football team and that is part of their lives. However, the difference between anime and sitcoms is the fact that in a sports anime the sport is central. At least in most sports animes. Prince of tennis is a pretty good example... of an anime that I have seen. There are very few episodes where tennis is not involved. Hell not just involved, but the central theme of the show. Doing homework, dating, eating, going to school is all secondary. As where in sitcoms the life outside of sports and how being a part of the sport effects your social situation is the central theme.

So I guess what I am saying is that with lower brow stuff you have a great deal more room for creativity and new ideas. You can break away from traditional formulas a lot more. You can come up with more obscure plots and settings. You can write animes in which 80% of the anime makes no sense at all. In a high brow part of society people have expectations. If those expectations are not met then the show will not succeed. Anyway just some mindless babbling.

That is awesome, whether or not it is in the original Japanese version does not matter. This is why I like dubbed anime. There are a lot more hilarious pop culture references in them. Granted they could have done a better job with it. Though I am not sure how they would do it. It is just the voice for that section does not really fit with the joke or something.. hard to say. Well regardless it is awesome.

So what is Japan's obsession with people being incredibly weak drunks or the other extreme impervious to booze no matter the quantity. I have never understood this obsession. A person downs a small sip of been are blacks out. Not that I would not mind being a cheap drunk like that. I could make a 6 pack last months. However, I just do not get why everyone has to be that way

I also do not get the whole drinking culture over there. Everyone just seems to get drunk no matter what. Not that I am complaining. I would totally be for going out and getting drunk all the time too if I could afford it. However, there is no casual drinking over in Japan. Everyone just gets blitzed which is interesting to me to say the least. Granted it does get kind of annoying. The same old routine, anime pair gets drunk has impulses they must resist. Or anime characters get drunk and stumble home alone and drunk and sad and stuff. I guess there is no other way to drink though.
