The going home club, such an elegant idea. It is kind of funny how we do not have any kind of slang like that here in the states. Then again, plenty of the stuff that they have for clubs in Japan are actually classes here. Well whatever, I guess that is just how things are. To be honest this a fun anime to watch. It is kind of rare to find animes that are well aware that they are animes. I know that is some kind of joke in most animes, but this time around it was a nice change in the stuff that happened. Overall though this is a fun anime, with crazy chibi minis and plenty of things to laugh about. Even if some of them will not translate well into english. I have to say I wish there was a little more to the Mini theater though.

The mini theater was kind of nice to watch. You had the rest of the show which was wacky but sensible and then you had the mini theater which was just crazy enough for us to not want to think about the show anymore. Plus the best part of the minis was the fact that they took a joke from the episode and just went complete and total stoner on it. I really liked that, it is not often that you get to see stuff like that.

There were plenty of on going jokes in this one that were a lot of fun to watch as well. For instance you had Natsuki and her antenna. You know the one which warps reality if you try and remove it. That was actually a really funny joke despite how incredibly simple it was. Granted I am not sure I would call that an antenna, but it was something to laugh about. Personally my favorite joke through the anime was the yuri jokes. Poor pure Karin, if only she knew that everyone wanted to rape her. She might not have giggle so much whenever people were molesting her and stuff like that. At least those jokes were funny, and that is what matters that I laugh at an otherwise bland anime.

Then there is the contradiction of the whole idea of the going home club. I mean the whole point of being called the going home club is so that you can go home. However, in this anime they spent plenty of time at school. That made me laugh too, well towards the end anyway. I think that despite being called the going home club they would just stay at school and then go home when normal club activities ended. That was a nice extra way for me to fill up this review with extra fluff.

Plus no moe anime is complete without plenty of What the Fuck moments? Granted they kind of limited these moments to just a few times. That was nice though because you did not have to outdo your original what the fuck moments every couple of seconds. That can be hard to do for some people. AT times you could tell it was hard for this guy to do because some of his jokes just went on forever. Needless to say it was still funny though to have all of these extra random what the fuck moments.

So overall, this anime is a good anime for a watch though. Not too deep no too off the wall. Just another simple anime about a bunch of cute girls going yuri for each other slowly over time. That is nice about this anime. It is one of those ones you can watch while doing something else that requires more attention. You do not have to look up hardly ever because there is not much going on so you can just watch every couple of minutes and then go off. Plus the whole short episodes thing makes the anime easy to break up. Which is always a good thing.
