So I enjoyed this anime. There are many good things about it. Such as the male lead not being a total wuss, the insults, the mindless justification of fan service, and the violence. I mean there is a great deal of stuff to really enjoy in this anime. I am not surprised it is so short. After all the male lead is not following your typical Harem guy.

Maybe I am mistaken, but your typical harem guy is not as competent as this one. I mean he actually was worth while right from the get go. He is smarter than your average male lead and he has some kind of skill to fight with. Plus he is at least aware of how to manipulate girls. So as they all flock around him he is a bit more able to enjoy it. Granted it is not like he really does, but in the end he is capable of it. That is what matters the most.

Next I love how all the characters insult each other all the time. I think my favorite insult was "Cow Tits". Maybe I am not very good at insulting people. However, that name never came to mind. I mean it is brilliantly simple and can be used on a variety of situations. So why has no one else been using it? After all, the large breasted are the few in the world. Why not call them cow tits to outcast them?

So only about 90% of the fan service in this anime is random and not justified. Which is kind of weird if you really sit down and think about it. All panty and boob shots are supposed to be random and pointless fap material for the guys who are not getting any. You are not supposed to give the ice queen lingerie and justify why she has to wear it. Granted it comes with a pretty heavy curse... unless you are into that kind of thing. However, that is a whole other discussion.

Finally the fights hold consequences, well most of them. I think I like that the most about this anime. When the fighting starts it is real fighting. There are no magic bubbles or do overs. Most can say that all anime is like that. However, this is one of the few that actually follows it pretty well. Most animes there are just bouncing around and magical shields. This one people are getting dismembered and stuff like that. I know that is a trait of Goro anime. However, this one makes it so that human flesh is not this magical barrier with repels all weapons.

All in all this is an anime I think most people would at least enjoy. If anything the lore is interesting. I am not sure if the anime made up the lore or what, but it is interesting to see all the lore that is in the anime. Plus all the other stuff I mentioned. It feels like it could have been longer and less rushed, but that is life sometimes.
