So overall this show is a very entertaining, if short show. You get everything you could think of in a show like this one, space ships, androids, corrupt governments, shady organizations. Probably the most entertaining of all is the large scale plotting.

Oh yes there is plotting and plotting and some thinking followed by more plotting and thinking and then some more plotting. I label this a good quality, after all it is always fun to watch the heros of the story stick it to the man. After all the man thinks his systems are pretty impenetrable, yet criminals always get through. It is always fun to watch a umm... sort of psychological battle. As each group tries to predict the other groups movements. And the best part is that not all the plans work out. After all that plotting and planning and perfect execution sometimes they still fail. After all even the best laid plans can fall apart. Generally the best method is to introduce an over whelming power.

And thus we enter the gothic cyborgs. Really it is getting kind of cliche in anime to have females that are not really ummm females or are not psychologically stable or normal be goths. Or maybe they are maids... or maybe some are maids and some aren't. Either way it is fun to watch these cold hearted robotic killing machines kill... everything. Really that is their only purpose to give the Guild the upper hand. But come one CYBORGS that are dressed up goofy even.

Finally it is short, I really like that. This is the kind of thing you can pound through in an afternoon. It is not the best six hours of your life, however, it is not a waste either. Plus it is a short story, the problem with a lot of animes, that are short. Is these animes often times have to cram in everything into these 12 or 13 episodes. Lucky for us we just get the important bits of history. You are not spending 5 minutes getting the entire life story of each character. You get the important past and that is all. The rest, well leave that up to your imagination. After all the main character is the man with no name or known history, only that he is a criminal. So why dwell on others reasons? Sometimes you just have to live with the fact that there will be unanswered questions, and sometimes that makes the anime good.
