So when the second half of this anime came around I was a bit agitated. Rightfully so, I mean what were they going to do write about the recovery of all the kids in the game? I mean there would be no point in doing something like that. So they threw a hail mary and decided to have something happen where our hero would have to go back online. You know there is nothing wrong with them doing that. The problem was the presentation.

I think the thing that pissed me off the most in the anime was how they included a little sister in it. Yeah she was nice and wet and all that jazz.. however.... well I just cannot help but be annoyed by her. Especially since for some reason she could not figure out the guy she was helping was her brother. There were plenty of signs. Well unless you take into account that there might be a voice changer in the game. I guess that would be needed if you were switching genders, but I guess you never know right? Then there was the villian.

Do not get me wrong I like crazy villians as much as the first guy, but seriously this guy was also pathetic. Most extremely crazy people like him are not complete wusses like that. I mean really, even some of the weaker supervillians in today's comics are way better than the bad guy in this one who hides behind his laws and planning. I do not know, I can appreciate all the planning and crap he put into this whole thing. However, I just cannot appreciate the role he played. Really when you write a character like that you have to have the kind of ending that this anime had.

I think the ending was the most upsetting. Really it was the most upsetting because of there was only one way the anime could end. Really it made you hate the bad guy even more. Here you have this evil genius who was too stupid to make sure his plan was going to work? God, I guess you need to have some kind of flaw which allows the hero to win, but still... I just cannot help but be annoyed by the fact that the villain lost the way he did. Even worse they made he even more pathetic.

SO I guess my advice in this review is to tell everyone that if they are going to watch this anime. Stop once you get to the end of Sword Art Online. Not the show, for those of you who rolled your eyes, I mean the game. I do not know, maybe you want to watch all the patheticness that is the end. However, really it was just something that did not need to happen. I do not really know why the author had the idea that it would be a good idea. However, I guess you can come up with those wild theories on your own. Regardless, that is why you should not watch this series.
