Sometime, somewhere there was a war going on. The samurai fought in this war. Using giant trash cans with flame throwers and obnoxious looking swords. Oh yeah and a few really big mechs. Anyway something happened and the merchants bought everything. Now the war is over, and the samurai are worthless. So they split into two factions. The bandits who terrorize the world and rob it of resources, and the beggars who basically starve to death.

There is one village who has had enough of the bandits. So they are tasked with finding samurai to deal with the betters. Of course you have to send out the hot shrine maiden to look cute and offer up food. They will gather seven samurai who will kill the bandits and free them from their oppressive reign
