Hugh has been notified of his Grandfathers passing. His grandfather was a well know collector of rare books. Among his grandfathers possessions he meets a girl named Ind... I mean Dalian. Who is the Mystical World in A Gourd.
Now Hugh has been charged with tracking down phantom books which contain mystical power. He is to seal them away inside Dalian. At least she is nice and grants him access to use these books to subdue and seal these other books when needed.

What more can be said? However, I find it hilarious that this world is just as bitchy as Dalian. I think that is a trait of women who have power of some kind. All of the sudden they become extra bitchy. Then again this one is not as flat as Dalian... so I can't write her aggression and attitude off as small tit syndrome. Hmmm well at least their mission is different.

I just don't remember it being so 1920s... Oh wait I am thinking of another anime. Yes this is definitely not the same anime. Though the whole Grimore thing is the same. They clearly have different premises. After all there is no science involved in this one.
Nice touch with the reaching into her chest thing too. Seriously, that is the sexiest sequence I have seen in a while. I like all the blushing and looking and moaning. Hell it almost feels like a hentai. Only instead of sex he is pulling out magical books. Yes we can let the fans imaginations go with that one.

I Never Understand This Character Type
Why is it that the tiny super smart females are always such cold bitches? Yes I know they are smarter than most people. Yes some of the arrogance is deserved. Why do they have to treat everyone like doormats though? I mean without Hugh Dalian would be up the river without a boat.
