We Are The Spam
So has anyone noticed how so many companies are making the people who use the products the spammers? It is kind of funny to think about to be honest. After all, I love my Dropbox account. However, the only way to get more free space is to spam the hell out of people who I know (What might that link be :P). Anyway, I have noticed that about a lot of different places that I have been too. Even sites that I really support like Fitocracy. I have to spam the hell out of people to get anything from them.
When you sit back and look at things. This is a brilliant idea that these companies have here. I make you do a day or two worth of work and I pay you a nickle. Literally that is what they are doing. Most of these accounts require a bunch of work so you can enjoy a few cents worth of benefit. Not that I am opposed to it. I mean it all makes sense. No one clicks on banner ads anymore.
Well that is not true because if no one did then on one would use them and the net would be a happier place. So I guess that is not 100% true. However, it is still pretty true. We all hate banner ads and stuff. So why would we want to click them? However, our buddies cannot lie to us right? They know what a good product is. Plus I am helping them out by doing this. So it is win win. It is really funny how companies turn us on each other.
^_^ Thank you for those of you who click ot links and sign up. You are doing me a huge favor. Anyway, it is funny how the world is slowly nullifying the use of the spam filters within email. I mean if spam comes from your friends then how are you supposed to filter it out? After all spam is one of those annoying things that can be useful sometimes. So if we destroy the purpose of the spam filter then we make our email boxes free of such annoyances as coherent messages that we want to see. Well that or we are setting the path to make social networking the official email of the future.
