The Idolm@ster
I will rate this after I am done with other anime and stuff
Too Much To Be Good
I can see why this is such a popular game in Japan. There are plenty of really well developed unique characters to umm... well do whatever it is they do in this game with. I am sure there is a love love aspect to it, but I cannot say for sure. Sadly, what makes this a good game is what makes anime suck. There are too many unique characters.
The problem is that all the characters are designed to be main characters. They are all built to be larger than life and the heroine of the story. There are plenty of animes where there are lots of unique characters. However, of those shows most of the secondary cast does not stand out. There is the main cast which takes up at most six characters and of those there are only really one to three main characters. Then there is a fleet of secondary characters to fill in gaps.
So as a stand alone anime where all the characters are featured this anime will fall short. If the anime was each individual idol... or idols, in the case of the twins, story. I could definitely watch this anime. Where there is a featured idol and her role in the company and her personal career. However, when this feels like a poorly written office sitcom. Well... I have to say good by. If only this anime could remain popular long enough to do 13 episodes featuring each idol
