I have to say this time around this anime was a complete and total disappointment. Which is REALLY sad considering how great the last season was. First off, there was no story what so ever. The author decided that having the fantasy adventures was nice. However, what is much nicer is to have every girl in the show hit on the main star. It was almost like he was the only male on the face of the planet. I guess it takes time for catastrophes to happen, but still why the hell was there at least no foreshadowing?

Maybe that is the author's way of telling the studio he wants nothing more to do with this anime. To be honest, there were no open ends at the end of the first season. A second season was not really needed. The hero went home, and all was well in the world. I basically wasted.. what was it 3 hours of my life to learn that the anime has become nothing but a vacation playground for Shinku and his future fuck buddies?

There was not a female in this series who did not hit on Shinku this time around. They all were gunning straight for him. No one seemed to care either. Makes you feel kind of bad for the other... well I guess there are not that many other male characters in this one. It is like the ultimate Harem. Not only are you surrounded by hot girls all the time, but there are so few other men around you do not have to worry about any one of those girls straying from your stable. I guess that they author made the romantic outings and encounters between only a few females, but still this is getting ridiculous. Worst part is that Shinku has to be the usual dense character. Why the hell can't any of females take a hint that he is not as lecherous as them. It is almost like this was not even a fantasy anime.

Really where did all the fantasy go? Normally in a fantasy anime there is a story, a nice curve through the various uhhh stages of literature. Yet this time around, there was nothing. Hell not even the story leading up to the event or during the event made any sense what so every. Why does anime do this all the time. The other thing that I do not get are the immortal characters.

What the hell is this Neverland? I mean yeah one of the characters is a local diety, that is ok. She gets to be immortal. However, you have the cat siblings who never seem to die. You also have the introduction of a former hero and her bitch the demon king. Both of whom see to be in very lively spirits despite being centuries old. I really do not get it to be honest. When the hell did this happen? It is like if you just wish to never get old you never get old. Kind of like neverland, what is next magic pixie dust that makes you fly when you get aroused?

Needless to say, I hope this anime gets cancelled and buried far far away. Lets pretend like this season Never existed. Yes that would be best. As long as this anime never existed then there is no reason for us to look past the greatness of the first one. With the plot, the balance and all the other stuff this season seems to have thrown out the window.
