The id-well is a thing that is created when someone has the desire to kill someone else. It is a unique thing that changes every time someone manages to get a victim. The police use technology to construct this an id-well into a form that can be explored by the great detectives. Now the great detective Sakaido must dive into these dreamscapes and solve the mystery of who the next victim will be. All the while trying to figure out how to stop this mysterious "John Walker" who seems to be manufacturing serial killers and sending them out into the world to kill for his own amusement.
Season 1 Episode 2
That is hardcore
So basically, you have to have the intent to kill to have one of these id-wells. That means that our loli Koharu would have to have wanted to kill herself, right? I mean, if that is the case, that is a pretty hardcore commitment to the job. You get kidnapped, and then you have to want to kill yourself to catch a serial killer? Man talk about being hardcore. I kind of have to wonder what will come of this. I mean surely this is going to be some kind of plot device, right? You know to set her up or something.
Season 1 Episode 5
Everyone seems to be crazy
You know our great detective Sakaido is pretty freaking crazy too, huh? I mean damn he goes off and manages to convince people to kill themselves talk about a bit warped or something like that. How does one get to that point? Well, no matter thee is not really all that much else to go there. Though I am kind of annoyed with this very blatant foreshadowing of things. I mean yeah, I get it we want to show off stuff, so the actions taken make sense, but they could be a little more subtle. I mean, why do this? I do not know all I do know is that I am sure this whole thing will play into the future of the series.
Ona side note, though, that is a pretty niche serial killer. A serial killer who seeks to convince other serial killers to kill themselves. Or is it just people who murder people in general? It seems like either would be a good target, but still, it is always fascinating how that stuff works out.
Season 1 Episode 6
Is that Sweet?
Yikes, man bitches be crazy. I mean, that is a pretty deep hole to fall into. You find the guy you have had a crush on for the past decade, or so/ Then you manipulate him into worshipping you. Then you manipulate him into letting you get your fetish off by burying people alive. Then you watch the feeds forever? I mean geez, that is pretty crazy. Though I kind of wonder how she did all that. You have to have the feed up all the time so she could watch them? What do they have like an infinite battery? I guess she could have tapped into a local electrical source, but that would be something else. Well, no matter there is not much to think more about. That is pretty crazy, though.
Season 1 Episode 10
Diving while diving
You know I hate it when they come up with this stuff. You can dive while you are diving. Even worse is when you dive while diving, it just seems to simulate real life. That is kind of strange I wonder how this all ties together? I mean, I guess there is something tied to it this other case that the Chief is following. How well at least our great detective got a bit of closure. I mean, it is interesting how he managed to use his magical ability to somehow go off the grid and secretly convince the serial killers to all kill themselves to make the world a better place. Oh well, there is not much else to really think about. That is kind of brutal that he gets to leave his family again. I guess that is just bad luck.
Season 1 Episode 13
A perception thing?
So they mentioned that dreams can have a different perception of time. Is that why our esteemed main character did not bleed out? It kind of seems a more fitting end for him to die while solving this case, and then Kokaru takes over as the primary main detective. After all, he got his wish. But I guess she is just not as fascinating detective as Sakaido.
