Takasugi Shinsaku wants to create an interesting and fun Japan. In order to do that he hears of a treasure which lets you move through time and take over the world. In an effort to ensure that something like that does not get in the way he seeks to destroy it. In his bumbling adventure, he stumbles across a man who is restrained on a table. Then there is a sudden glow of light, and the man is gone. After their meal, the world shakes, and lights and numbers appear, and now Kyoto is different, even down to the clothes they are wearing. It seems all those rumors about time travel were true. Now it is Takasugi Shinsaku and his friend Katsura Kogorou quest to restore the world to its rightful place.
