In the future all nations have fallen and the role of governing and taking care of the people has fallen to the major corperations in the world. This has brought peace to the world. However, there is a disease going around called Degeneration. The disease causes people to turn to dust and vanish from the earth. Once this disease appeared a group of beings from the future called the "Timekeepers" appeared to humanity to provide a solution. That solution being that humanity must go to war with itself from parallel universe to insure that one of those worlds will have a future.
