You know in the first episode I thought that there were a lot of females in this anime. At first it seemed like it was an all girls school, but then you meet the band director, and watch all the females get wet. Well at least this time around you can easily justify the lack of a male presence in the school band. I mean the band director is so hot. I guess that is why the band sucks so much. You know all the females cannot look at the music and the band director at the same time.

I like this band director, he is an actual band director who does not sugar coat things. Reminds me of the days back when I would play in the school ensembles and we would spend an entire rehearsal... or the majority of a rehearsal on a couple of bars. Even more hilarious was when the band realized his point. He gave them an easy piece that they could have made sound amazing and they played as good as most elementary school bands. Ah knowingly being a dick and making people suffer is such a wonderful thing. Even better when they cannot retaliate because they know you are correct. This guy is actually cool.. how rare given the kind of anime this anime is.
