Lets talk about a pointless anime if I ever saw one. You can always tell when an anime is designed to generate a bunch of random anime girl merchandise for lonely guys looking to uhh love these young girls. I mean the idea alone says you should stay away from this anime. I mean who the hell thinks up of the idea "Cute anime girls and tanks"? Well I guess that is a dumb question to ask now. This anime is pretty much as generic as one anime can get. The only novelty is that there are tank battles in it. Otherwise, this is your typical girl power anime.

Lets start off with the first Cliche, girl running from family. The main character does not want to be a part of the family business anymore, a tankery school. So she runs as far away as she possibly can. She finds the only school that she can that does not have Tankery as a class. Wonderful idea, she thought she was safe, too bad she was not. After all, the one thing she did not count on was the school starting the program back up. Thus she is blackmailed and begged into joining the program.

Cliche number two, the group of new super best friends. This follows pretty typical of any anime. Where girls met girl and they hit it off and start a semi-sexual relationship with each other. Along the way they pick up two other outcasts and become the ultimate super best friends. You know then some things happen and they all become the super awesome team. They live they love and they are all awesome in some way shape or form towards the end.

Plus you have all the other schools and they fill in all the other needed molds for the remaining girls. Of course all these girls are super rich too. You cannot ever forget that the main characters are all poor. That is always a fun thing to think about. I mean I wonder why they do that. Anyway, the girls that you do not find on the school team you find in the other schools. You know I think this anime has every kind of girl in that you could imagine up. It is like an inventory of all the cliche girl molds.

The real killer for me on this one was the stupid freaking episode structure. In the infinite wisdom of the writer. They decide to put out a couple of point five episodes. You know he basically wanted to do a recap episode in the middle of a 12 episode anime. So really there are only ten episodes. Because for some reason the author decided that getting bios of all the imaginary wives out there was more important than writing the story. Yes you know if this was a 24 episode series I could see the need for those. However, why the hell would you put DVD extras in a 12 episode series?

Yeah this is an anime that you probably should not waste your time with. Between the nice cookie cutter plot and setting. Along with the pointless extra episodes. This anime is only really worth watching if for some reason you need to dump your current pretend girlfriend and are looking for a new one.
