Sorata is just your typical run of the mill student just trying to make his way through high school. Problem is he lives in the notorious Sakruasou. The hall which is known as the freak hall. Where all the prodical students live. The reason he lives here is because it is outside of the regular school rules, and well he has a soft spot for cats.

While Sorata's Goal is to move out of Sakrasou his plans suddenly shift with the arrival of Mashiro. An accomplished artist, who really lacks the ability to take care of herself. Because all the others in the hall are so incredibly wrapped up in their own lives they just do not really care tot ake care of her. Now Sorata is left to make sure she wakes up, eats, sleeps, wears underwear that kind of crap.
