Yeah I Think It Is Time To Cut Back On My Otaku Life
So today I happened upon this article. I have to say that I agree with Kano on this one. Are these guys lives so incredibly devoid of meaning that they have nothing better to do than stalk their favorite Seiyuu? I know that is how Japan markets their idols. However, this is just out of hand. Whatever happened to playing a part? This makes me want to cut back.
I am not even bad by the standards of most obsessive fans. I have a nice collection of figures and wallscrolls. However, nothing compared to most serious fans. Reading this article makes me feel weird. I can only imagine how the Seiyuus feel. Then again I guess I have been in something like a relationship, so I can understand how the Seiyuus feel.
However, Onosaka brings up an interesting point. She got a black because she might have been with a man. Would she have gotten a white if she was with a woman? This is an interesting question. After all in most mens minds two women are better than one. Hmmm this is one reason I need to learn how to read Japanese, that way I can get on 2chan and see what all these guys said about her mark if she was with a female.
