Okay so I hope that I am not the only person getting annoyed by how anime is ending these days. I guess that this is not happening enough for me to actually care. It has only happened on like 4 animes but still this seems to be another new thing that anime is doing to annoy me... or play the community for chumps. It is the idea of ending the season right at a climax or even worse halfway through the climax. There is all this action going on and then the credits roll. Now I get to wait between 13 and 52 weeks to see what happens next.

I mean I guess that is the one good thing that comes out of these anime that just end like that. There is a much quicker turn around for the next season because they left things in such a dick way. However, I just cannot seem to bring myself to like this kind of thing. How is it possible to enjoy an anime and not get annoyed when there is something big happening and I have to wait for an extra couple of months to see the end. It is like the japanese are taking queues from the US. Why can't they just go back to closing things down the old-fashioned way.

You know finish off the arc after 13 episodes and hint that there is a potential for more? I guess a lot of companies still do that but still, not enough for my tastes. At least then I do not have to quit watching the series with a bad taste in my mouth. You know the one where you just feel vile because ugh you cannot help but wonder what went on. At least with the potential for more I am less pissed off.

However, I digress I am just happy that Japan has not gone crazy with anime and stopped sending it over here. I mean I can only wonder when that will happen. What with the numerous sets of nudity and things of that nature that go on. It is only a matter of time before crazy people over here in the US get their greasy mitts on my anime and ruin it. I have already seen the censoring with Xenoblade Chronicles X and Dead or Alive: Extreme Beach Volleyball 3 or Fatal Frame on the Wii U.

I have to wonder when swimsuits suddenly became XXX rated here in the US. In each of these games something was censored, in the case of Dead or Alive the entire game was censored. It is not even big horrible stuff as well. You know in Xenoblade one of the characters also wears a sports bra with her swimsuit. I guess I forgot that all 13 year olds do not start wearing swimwear until they are in their mid-30s. Ugh I mean with all the stuff that happens in anime it is a matter of time before they start getting censored.

I mean really way worse things go on in anime. There is always the magical booby fall you know where the male always manages to get a good feel on a female whenever they fall over. Let us not forget about the swimsuit episodes that are mandatory or the hot spring episodes. That is straight up nudity there with no point other than to tease the viewer. Just so many things in regular anime which can be considered a staple of any good series that will just ruin things for all of us one day. However, I guess for now anime is still not a big enough industry over here so it is safe. Seems to be that being poor is saving the industry.

So much fun for the annoying trends that are popping up in the recent year.... well maybe recent years. I guess I have been seeing the whole ending during a climax thing several times over the past year or two. I guess that we will just have to see where things go for the next year or so. I am sure things will work out or if anything get better with time. Just like the rise and fall of the need for Moe these seem like things that looked good on paper but now that everyone is seeing them no one will want anything to do with them anymore. At least that is what I can hope for.
