Well lets hope that bed number three will be the charm. Seriously my luck with this futon has just been miserable at best. I cannot see how or why it keeps on failing. I am following all the advice I could get out of the sales people. That does not seem to help at all. I mean after all I do the stuff that is recommended and I get maybe an extra month, you know if I am lucky. It does not help that I am the only person having this problem.

However, right now it is easier to just keep getting replacement parts than it is to go out and buy a new bed. I mean seriously, it cost me $700. I also took a look around their show room a bit. The frame seems to be the same no matter what model you get. I guess many if I were to not use the couch function of this futon I would be a bit better off.

That is one thing I am noticing. Yes I took time to do an examination of the bed before I threw the mattress on. It seems that when in couch mode one side of the bed is destabilized a.. well great deal. There is no reason for me to hide that fact. So as long as I avoid that side of the bed while I am in couch mode I should be ok. Which is just fine, that side of the bed is too close to the TV anyway.

You know it sucks when you have this great idea on a way to get privacy comfortably in your room. Then it all goes to hell because the stupid fucking bed does not want to stay in one place. Or stay together. So now I have to worry about the bed breaking every time I use it. Oh well.. I guess as long as I can keep getting replacements... well I guess that is better than nothing.
