Pants That Fit
So this past weekend, I had reason to buy new cloths. That reason being I have been so lazy that I cannot do my laundry and I needed clean nice looking cloths for an event this weekend. Uhh that is always a shame I am sorry to say. I have to go out and buy cloths. I never thought the day would come, but it came and now has past. Which is a good thing. Anyway, you know you are out of touch with things when you want to write about an experience that we should all remember.
Honestly, I had no idea how odd it would feel to wear cloths that actually fit. It has been so long since I actually cared. Most of my cloths have been loose fitting or baggy or something like that. You know because I have lost a lot of weight. So it was a new experience. Then again, it might have just been the fact that the cloths were designed for people with normal bodies. I was most annoyed about the lack of mobility that I had.
I had noticed that first when I started walking around. The cloths felt constricting and tight. I was not sure what to do with that. Really, I had not idea what I should do with that. It was almost if every step I was going to take was going to tear the pants. Man did it feel weird. I could not squat or sit down without worrying that there was going to be a tear. Problem is that the next size up was just too much. I wanted to have a pair of pants where the belt was just a decoration, not a necessity. I guess that was my mistake. I am sure if I had worn the larger pants I would have been ok. Then again, there were no larger pants in that style.
I guess I am writing about the pants a lot here. I guess that is because most of my shirts stretch more than the denim in these pants. Yeah that has to be it. The shirt was made out of much more... loose and flexible material. Though it was a little weird wearing that as well. I am not used to having a shirt that does not hug me too tightly or act like a poncho. Hmmm what a strange sensation.
This is something that I do not think I will be dealing with again any time soon. After all, the pants and shirt cost me $100. That is a lot of money for one days worth of cloths. I guess maybe I should work on buying up more cloths as they come... but seriously, this is annoying. I need to get used to wearing all these fitting pants again. Then again, why do that when I already have a wardrobe that has not fallen apart yet? It was just an odd experience.
