When a movie has a name like Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. There are many feelings associated with that kind of title. I think the one big one is "fear". You know fear that thing that makes us wonder if we are going to regret something. This title brought much fear into my heart as I sat down with my Costco ticket. Much fear indeed, fear that the movie was going to suck. Not that I really know what a bad movie is since I enjoy all movies that entertain me.

Lucky for me this was one of those rare and random occurences when the movie surprised me a lot. I mean yeah it was ridiculous. However, what did you expect from a movie like this? I mean... really people who complain about that need some serious reprogramming. One needs to understand that you have to accept certain fates that come with obscure movies like this one. However, like I said this one was good. Since the over the top thing was already removed from my thoughts. There was a story and I am pretty sure the story was historically accurate as well. Well as close as you can get with vampires anyway. So I say go see this movie.

I hope that this movie can be a lesson to people to give many things a chance. Because we all forget that the obscure and seemingly ridiculous can be incredible from time to time. Yes it is rare, but at least it gets us doing something right? Oh well, now comes the time when I try to brave the waters of Final Fantasy XIV.
