To The Left Stupid Consumers To The Right Tactless corporations
So there has been a recent wave of controversy over the new Mass Effect Launch day DLC. This brings up the whole discussion of how controversial this idea is. You know if you have a fully developed chapter, mode or something shouldn't it be included in the game? Which I really do not find to be much of a controversy. Then again I understand that when you write software. It is generally completely written for at least six or so months. You know so that QA testing can occur. So why not devout a few extra resources to working on the next steps? However, that is not really a concern of the normal idiots.
So for the normal people out there. I tend to think those of your who actually care are jobless free loaders who can barely afford the game much less content. So here is a novel concept for you guys. If you do not like the fact that companies have launch day DLC. Please stop buying it. I mean it is that simple and basic. Go out and buy the game, and only buy the game. Make all this extra DLC work that the companies do be pointless work. If you do not buy something, then the idiots who only care about money won't sell it. People seem to forget that here in America we are very concerned with making money. If no money is to be made then there is no point in selling it. Especially if no big money is going to be made. That is the American way. If I cannot expect a 100% return it is not worth my time. So if you do not buy this stuff. Regardless of what it is, map packs, chapters, characters, levels, whatever. Then companies will stop wasting their time.
On the other side of the fence. Why the hell can't you business people have a little patience? Seriously, all EA had to do was wait a lousy stinking 3 months to market the new material. This would not be something people could get mad about if you ass holes waited just a little bit. I do not understand. With a huge game like this you will make a good chunk of money on it over the initial couple of months. So why not wait until sales start to slip then add the DLC? I mean in the end you can just put that down as profits for the game. I just do not understand. What exactly does three months mean to you guys. Plus you would probably make more money as people would not be pissed off at you guys
However, I digress, at the end of the day I can afford the $10 to buy the new chapter. So I do not care to be honest. Might as well get it is what I say. Then again, I do not have to beg my mom, at the tender age of 26, for money to buy a game to play while I am unemployed. Then again I cannot help but wonder why only idiots are up in the top levels of corporations as well.
