So it is the end of the year. One must ask ones self how can one waste the last couple of days off that I have before I have to return to a regular working schedule. So I think I will do what any insane shut-in loser would do and play video games. So as most of you know, I recently acquired The Old Republic. It has been eating into my gaming and anime watching. So I am going to end that over the next couple of days. I am going to see how many hours I can play and how many levels and how much of the game I can beat. I fee this is the best use of my time. So I wonder how far I will get and what I will accomplish? I will of course be taking random breaks throughout the day to eat or sleep or workout or run an errand. As much as I just want to recluse in, I cannot. However, I will try my damnedest to do so.

29:14 - Level 3

So a recruiter called me and broke up my first wave a little short. Anyway, time for the initial report. So about 20 minutes in, I am going to set up my grinding method as not using taxis or quick travel. I will walk everywhere and kill everything that moves. Normally, I like to grind. I have always been an RPG grinder. It is serving me well since I have only completed 1 real mission and am level 3.

Anyway, this only started with 235 rested EXP. Which feels odd because I made this character about a week ago. So that was disappointing. While it is understandable in some ways. Why bother limiting characters rested EXP? Anyway, hopefully people will start logging in soon so I can get social points.

2:22:28 - Level 7

Well so far so good. I wonder if anyone actually uses the looking for group feature? I know it is there, yet I am pretty sure that no one cares. Anyway I had forgotten the level of difference in power of the knight. I can actually take on elites on my own. So that has been a huge experience booster. Speaking of experience, I am always running short.

That is before I return to the jedi temple to learn new skills. I am always 90% there. Which is annoying because then I miss out on all sorts of power ups. Well too bad I got lost.

Anyway, this story seems really short. I mean, I already have a companion. Yet I am only level 7. Hmmm well whatever, it is nice being able to kill things faster. Even if I cannot build my focus like I used too. Anyway, it may be a little early. However, it feels like it is time for food.

3:35:11 - Level 8

So time to test out a theory of mine. So I have been having a problem withheld game where it slows down during cut scenes. So I think it is just my computer needing a reset. Hopefully that is all.

Anyway my companion was short-lived, thank god. Though it was interesting having him around. I will enjoy having him around later. It is always interesting to have them around. I miss being able to level quickly. However, the game cannot make it too easy right? I made it to level 8. Too bad I bought more inventory rather than actually buying skills.

5:50:02 - Level 10

Well I am in the home stretch. I am not going to get my advanced class just yet. I need some time to decide. However, at least I am close. Not much to say that I can really remember. I did the chamber of secrets with a girl who had no clue what she was doing. That was annoying. She let me die twice. Not to mention the fact that she was not even kind enough to revive me or let me heal. However, I digress. Oh well at least I have the heroic out-of-the-way.

I am also glad to have my companion back. It is a go thing he appears to be a tank. I am not really used to playing non-tank characters just yet. Though being a DPS is interesting. Either way it has been a new experience. Had I not done so many side missions I would be done by now.

Not to mention if my kitty was not so mean and obstructive I could let her sit on me more. Sadly that is not the case. She is a little punk.

I Wonder if anyone actually takes this grouping flag seriously. Maybe I need to be on a more populated server. I really wish people were not so non-social. Social points are the key to actually getting good gear. OK that is a good enough leg stretch.

7:55:25 - Level 14

So the ending boss was kind of annoying. I mean, yes I understand it is a boss. However, I am the only person in that area. So they should probably tone the stupid thing down a bit. Granted I am kind of interested to see what will happen next. I guess that is one way to make me play several characters. Have 3 possible archs. Oh well, at least I got to the end of the story.

So I decided to give PVP a shot, because I felt it would be funny. You know because I am a weakling. Well I learned that PVP is going to be the death of me with this character. It was bad enough when I could hit enemies from range. It is worse when I am trying to stand next to the enemies. So I lost all my PVP today. It was kind of humiliating and kind of not. Well either way at least it was a new experience.

I decided to go the guardian route. That way I can better play to my strengths. I notice that I do much better protecting people than I do brute forcing them to death so why break the cycle. Plus there are about a billion Jedi Sentials on my server. Everyone wants to do the dual light sabers I guess. God do people suck.

I decided to call it a night for a couple of reasons. First reason being that I was kicked off the server for some reason. I think it is my computer. It cannot really handle this kind of stuff all that well. I mean after a couple of hours it really starts to struggle. So playing for any amount of time longer will just be pain on my part. Second, I have to get up early tomorrow. There is a workout class.. maybe I am not sure. Either way I am going to try and get most of my stuff out of the way in the morning so I have more time to do stuff in the evening. You know when the glare is not on my TV.
