The Good Old Days
Do you remember the good old days of sitcom TV? Well I didn't until Hulu mentioned that they had Married With Children. I now remember the glory days of horrible family sitcoms. I also remember, when it was ok to make fun of the poor. >_> ah yes the good old days. Back when an impoverished family living on minimum wage somehow managed to have a nice house and nice cloths. I guess they do joke about not eating all the time though. Ah yes this takes place back during the end of the 80's and the beginning of the 90's.
It is like watching a chapter of my life that I had almost forgotten. The main one being that anyone with blonde hair is retarded, and easy. Ah yes the good old days of TV. When only attractive females were allowed to be sexy. Where a sitcom casting director would wander down the street looking for girls with the biggest hooters and say "Hey you want a part on TV?" There were also the days when big hair was in. All the girls with big hooters had medium hair, and low cut shirts. Then all the girls with small hotters had gigantic hair. I think I will call that small hooter syndrome.
You may have noticed me saying hooters a bunch. Ah yes the early 90's. My how I miss all the forgotten slang. You know because the words we use today, such as tits or boobs, were taboo words back then. Back in the day when there were not strip clubs, only nudie bars. Ah yes the slang takes me back. Really everything takes me back about that show.
Where does the time go? Seriously it is hard to believe that show was on the air for as long as it was. Then again I forget the curse of the 90's. Where you would get these idiot kid stars who actually sucked at acting. So instead of admitting defeat and giving up. They stayed on the show as long as they humanly could. As long as the show was going they were on it. I think that is what kept the shows semi-original. A show could go on for 15 years, and not get too stale because you had kids growing up on the show. Well it is off to amazon to see how many seasons I can buy of that show.
