Step One Complete
I would have to say this weekend I broke even. Because I finally found the will to finish off the first major portion of my costume. I will have to say it looks like a novice built it.. and it is a bit too large but whatever, it is done. I will get better with practice right? I have to say that I REALLY hate sewing stuff like sleeves and collars. Then again if I was better at cutting the cloth that might have been easier. Now comes to the hard part of making all my hand sewn stitches. The real disappointment came from Apartment hunting.
So I need to find my own new place to live. I was just fine doing that, until I started scouting out apartment complexes. First off there are no complexes in my prefered price range that I would qualify as anything less than a severe downgrade. So I had to bump up my rent budget about... $380? Which I can find a way to do that. I do not have a problem with that. The problem I have is with all of the fees that come here and there. There is a fee to process the application and a fee to hold the apartment and a security deposit, and the pet deposit. All of the places I was looking to move were going to charge me close to $1000 in fees alone. God, these apartment complexes really take advantage of the fact that people need a place to live. Why move when it is going to cost me about $1000 in the end?
Sadly, I have been a bit too... ambitious... yeah that is the word ambitious, with my money to really afford looking at a house. Sadly I will not be able to pay down as much of my vehicle as I would like too. Once I have paid that guy off I can start looking for a house. Then again, maybe I need to find a place I want to spend the next 30 or so years at before I start thinking about that. Either way I need to set up a savings account to see if I can afford to move next year.
