So last night I managed to finish Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. I am not displeased with the game itself. Compared to its DS uhh... sibling Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. I am displeased with how they decided to end the game. Since this is not a gaming sit and I am not a dick. I will say that FAR too much time is spent on tieing this game to the original Kingdom Hearts games. That is what pissed me off. All of the ties to the games that came before it are loose at best.

This is the problem that you run into with making prequels like this one. You have this whole huge universe that you have to tie into. I am just really pissed off that so much time is spent trying to make the games chronological parts make sense in the rest of the universe. What pisses me off more is the fact that they have spent a great deal of time doing foreshadowing in the end of the game. So the next major Kingdom Hearts game will probably require you to have beaten Kingdom Hearts:Birth By Sleep to understand what is going on. The same thing happened with Kingdom Hearts 2. There is a huge story arch for Sora that you missed if you did not play Kingdom Hearts:Chain of Memories

However, I will give credit where credit is due. They have woven a very rich universe with this series of games. I cannot wait for the next major release. Which I hope will be forth coming soon. I am getting sick and tired of these stupid fan service games. Yes there are a lot of untold stories in the Kingdom Hearts universe. Lets tell them after the main story is done. Instead of forcing these stupid side stories to have major tie ins to the main story.
