HA HA I have done it I have finally done it. I have finally gotten off my lazy ass and wrote my first script to make this site dynamic. So I guess techincally this site is officially in beta... or is it alpha... I can't remember it is one of the two. So there are a few new features out.

First off this is all done with python. After much research into the python XML and HTML parsing libraries I just decided that it would be easier to use a bunch of print statements, old fashioned CGI. I also found that if I removed the step of dropping all of my individual entries into classes and just flat out looked them all up. Well the site runs a lot faster now. I guess since I am the only one updating this site PHPMyAdmin should be just fine for making my entries... after all I do not want to be writing a cms for myself.

Second, I have added an email link... somewhere on the page. It is like a fun game that we can all play, find the email link. And when you find it you should let me know, by emailing me. Please help acknowledge my existence by emailing me. I need to know that someone seriously wants to waste their time telling me I am wrong. After all I have put so much time into telling you guys you are wrong.

Anyway, now I am on to the more complicated part of this. Setting up my anime tables and such. Hmmm while I have a good idea of how I am going to do it. I am more dreading doing the styles. You see those are a pain in the ass. Plus there is setting up a new nav that is dynamic. Uhhh I am still a ways of from actually having this site finished... but hopefully I will have more functionality availible by November 1, 2008. Along with some anime reviews. Uhhh I think I said I want to have at least 10. Well if anything I have number two started, The Beautiful Yet Ugly World.
