The most redeeming quality about this show is it is funny. Plenty of obnoxious weird humor to satisfy any obnoxious person. Plus magical glowy panty shots and stuff like that. I think the only real strength of this show, besides the humor, is the idea. When I sit back and think about hit. You have a guy who has a pretty worthless skill, even if he is a best selling author. Then he is forced to use that skill to overcome problems.

Really that is the only thing I can think of that really makes this series good. Everyone else in the series has an actual applicable skill. You know hacking, inventing, singing, playing an instrument, hell even the exorcists have more use than our lead. Yet he is thrown into situations where he has to use his magical erotic novel powers to make things right. So at least it is clever.

Yeah I am stretching it a bit. Really this is just a harem anime. However, you have to find the good somewhere right? The real point of this series is to put cute girls, of a variety of personalities, into sexual situations. Really it feels like it would be a better dating sim over being an anime.
