There is always something right? Always something that can really annoy you and make the anime not as much fun to watch. Well I have to find those and make sure they are well documented so that way I can be cool or something. Anyway, we get to go back to the reasons and things that I can really hate about anime, especially this one. The main things that I find are how incredibly jarring some of the stuff that happens can be.

How about an easy one to start off with. This anime is obsessed with sweat. I mean the only time that sweat is not really prominently showing on the characters is when they are not doing anything. However, the second they take the dance floor it is almost like clockwork the sweat explodes from their body and gets everywhere. I mean I get that the writer wants to show that this is definitely a sport and any idiot watching this could easily see that YES in fact the person is working hard. However, they go overboard with the sweat. It just gets... well weird at times. Especially when a character might slip on sweat in practice you fling twice as much sweat around during the competition yet never slip on any.

Next the formal wear is a bit obnoxious. I am sure there is a proper word for this, but most of the female dresses have these long fancy... I guess wings on their arm which get whipped around and shown off a lot. I guess there is a visual effect or something but you know it is kind of annoying to see that stuff dominate the area, especially since they can be pretty ornate. I just wonder how exactly is the person supposed to get around with that on their body. It seems almost like they are just trying to be annoying.

Speaking of annoying, it is REALLY annoying when a side character is featured for an extended period of time. I do not generally care about the story of the person who is competing against Tataro. That story is kind of stupid and pointless. It is pretty obvious that the person is bitter and that is all that you really need to know right? We do not need to watch this crap over and over again. I get why they took the time with Chinatsu as she is also a protagonist, but still the bad guys and the rivals? There was no need to go into such elaborate detail about things like that.

Then there is the lack of detail on other things. The points are not really explained in this series. Do not get me wrong I know that it can be hard to draw the imperfections that most judges would write off on but still, it is not that hard is it? I do not want to really think about that too much. All I know is that some how everyone once-in-a-while the judge would score something and someone would lose. It never makes sense it would be nice to hear the reasoning behind why the judge marked the couple down other than "They are just not pretty enough".

Then there is the sneaky stuff that they do with this whole romance thing. Do not get me wrong, I am well aware why most males start dancing. I am well aware that dancing with someone is sexy. However, they really needed to break away from this whole romantic drama crap they were pulling. Yes good on the writer for making the drama look like a fight about the dance, but really this was so stupid. It is like the anime that calls itself "Eroge" and they show basically everything and the only thing that separates that anime from hentai is sex. I get it, the two of them want to have sex and all the other ones are professional and have no interest in dating their partners. Well I guess that is kind of minor over all, but when it comes out it really annoys me. I do not really care much for this romance crap and that really just gets in the way of things and I wish that it could not be a part of the anime. Stick to the common trope where they have the secret crush and that is it.

As I said no anime is really complete without some flaws. That is just how anime works these days. You have to take the good with the bad and the bad with the good. Hard to say if these are really dealer breakers for me or anyone who might want to watch this anime. I guess it really depends on how good you are at overlooking the stuff that annoys you and how easily you can pretend that it did not happen.
