Yeah you know nothing gets the blood going like watching an anime geared at lolicons. You know this is one of those animes where I have to wonder what exactly was going through the person's mind when he or she made the artwork. I mean really, you could not put a little less effort into the oversexualization of the younger girls? I guess the anime was standard magical girl enough that it probably needed the extra creepy lolicon stuff to give it an edge of some kind. I mean wow, that was annoying. Plus just to make it more interesting lets make it so that there are no males on the island too. You know when I think about it there are really no males the girls age. So on top of that you get the pure innocence of yuri at that age.

I have to say the main thing that ruined this anime for me was the school uniforms. I guess the aritist was trying to be original or something. I mean how many schools let their girls wear wedgie shorts to school everyday. However, the artist made sure to over compensate and make their shirts nice and covering. After all the girls are young, they do not really have anything to show off yet. Well they do, of course they do, sometimes girls hit that first growth spurt in second grade right? You need that boost to get out of the cookie cutter magical girl.

Now it was not cookie cutter 100% like most animes that parade themselves around these days. There were a couple of original parts. However, they could not run away from the one evil enemy, nope there was only one. Well they were actually too good for the girls so they sent their pet to take care of things. Plus you have the magical get bigger arrows flying around all the time that has to be something good. Oh yeah lets not forget my favorite part, the innocent yuri.

We all know the innocent yuri. The girls who basically have sex with each other, but do not. You know they cuddle, spoon, touch, squeeze, and on occasion plant a tender innocent kiss. However, it is all the purity of femaleness... or something I do not know. I mean really. The innocent yuri stuff is getting really annoying. Then again I guess it is fascinating. I mean.. are girls allowed to date girls?

That is something I am curious about with this whole obsessive idol scene. I know that these girls follow the model of the perfect idols who are oblivious to the world around them, but I have to wonder. What happens when a touch turns into more. I wonder if they could have wild sex all the time and no one would care because it is hot and sexy. Yeah that would be nice right?

Well I need to stop mindlessly rantinga bout nothing. I mean I guess I just need to shut myself in more to understand why anyone would make this anime and actually want to keep it around. I mean christ another one with such potential. Ruined because they need DVD extras to jack off too. Uhhh oh well I guess that is just how life is. You have to take the good with the bad.
