To be honest it is hard for me to hate short animes like this one. I mean with three minute episodes how can you go wrong? I really like the fact that I can catch up on this one quickly. The second is the cheap animation charm. I think that is one thing that really makes this anime. The charm you get from how simple it is. Then there is the whole bashing on another part of japan thing.

I think that is my favorite part of this whole anime. How they basically sit around and bash Osakans. You know make fun of how obnoxious and ridiculous they are. It was like watching an American TV show that does that. There are plenty of them out there.. I just do not watch much American TV so I cannot tell you what they are. Plus you the the whole Japanese Comdey angle. So it is not just all bashing on Osakans. Plus I just love the animation style.

Really when I see this anime I think of marionettes. The way the character are just basically jerked around and swung around to make motions. It is kind of soothing to watch to be honest. It allows for a very high quality of animation on a very low budget. I mean, all you have to do is draw a couple of outfits and some mouth motions are you have the anime. You just need to round up maybe 5 people and the series can be completely done in a living room. I am going to say that even though the animation is cheap, the actual drawing is great for what it is. That was not something I was expecting.

Last there is the short nature of this anime. I am all for the regular length animes. However, some days I just cannot find the time to sit down and watch for 20 minutes. To be honest I am not sure when that started happening. However, it is nice to be able to take three minutes to sit down and watch anime and then get back to work. Kind of like sneaking around to get anime behind the family's back. Either way that makes this anime just as enjoyable. Because you never know what they will find time to cram into the show.

So go out and watch this anime. The entire series consists in one full episode of a regular length anime. You can see all the stuff that amuses me about it. You may not be as impressed by that stuff.. but who knows maybe you will at least get a good laugh out of it. Oh yeah I forgot to mention the song that comes with the end of every episode. They are cute... try not to think about them too much.. but.. you know.. they are fun to hear.
