One thing I like about this show is how epic they make Medaka. No one can compete with her, litereally no one. That is what keeps this series awesome. A lot of series with super powered characters tend to try and make it seem possible for the all powerful hero to actually have a rival. In Medaka box there is this nice sensation that Medaka cannot be beaten, she is a god. Yes there are strong people who can cause her damange. Yes there are others who excel at what they do. However, she kicks more ass than they ever will and ever did. She is just awesome at everything she does. The best part is she knows it.

I guess this is what you call a character flaw. However, it plays out so very nicely in Medaka. She knows she is super badass and she flaunts it around. I think her excuses to Exhibition are the best. She does have a valid point. There is no reason to keep her sexy body hidden away from all the guys. They all can have a nice peek because it would be a shame for it to be hidden. I do not know how you make narcasism so freaking hilarious but she managed to do it very nicely. She is sexy and funny, who would have thought.

Even the fact that she has always been spoiled and rich is played out very nicely. You would actually believe that all the stuff she says about how confused she is about people' lack of money is true. She is like the ultimate super spoiled princess of a character that is just hilarious to watch.

For these reasons I say watch the anime. Small reasons, however, good writing like tis is so very hard to find. If anything the characters alone make the anime worth a watch. Well minus the time when Medaka is not there because everyone else just seems lame and boring compared to Medaka. Hence why there was plenty of swimsuits and underwear and stuff like that. After all you need to look sexy while you go out and help people right?
