Ignore the Loli-Ecchi
Like most sports animes out there. These animes can be intense and inspirational. Really those are the only qualities that make this anime worth watching. The main thing being it takes a different perspective on things. Though we do not think about it. There is as pretty big distinction between elementary school and middle school. So there are various strifes that the kids face being elementary students. So it is interesting to see what those are defined as. Plus the only part of the sports anime formula that is followed is the genius player.
That is one interesting turn this anime provides. Instead of being an already established, good club. The club itself has barely gotten off the ground. The majority of the girls are placed in a situation where they have to learn a game they have never played. Once again that makes for an interesting twist on the anime. Since that adds different story elements to it.
Currently I believe there is an uncensored version out in Japan. I would not recommend it. However, if I can find a good censored one. I would say give it a shot. There is no reason for pedophile nature of the anime to make it one you pass up.
